ICE Finish off Saskatchewan Road Trip with 5-2 Victory over Regina

Regina, SK - The Winnipeg ICE concluded its three-game Saskatchewan road trip with a 5-2 victory over the Regina Pats at Brandt Centre on Sunday.

ICE defenceman Carson Lambos scored two goals in the game giving the Winnipeg native five points in five games to start the 2019-2020 season. Michal Teply, Cole Muir and Isaac Johnson added the other goals for the ICE. Goaltender Will Gurski made his WHL debut on Sunday, recorded an assist and stopped 19-of-21 shots for pick up his first WHL victory.

The Pats gots goals from Robbie Holmes and Austin Pratt. Goaltender Danton Belluk blocked 20-of-25 shots.

The ICE finished its Saskatchewan road trip with a record of 2-0-1-0 and now have an overall record of 3-1-1-0.

The Winnipeg ICE return home and have four days off before hosting the Edmonton Oil Kings on Friday, October 4. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:30 P.M. CT. The next night, the ICE welcome the Vancouver Giants to Wayne Fleming Arena.
