ICE Fall 3-2 in OT to Defending WHL Champions

Prince Albert, SK - The Winnipeg ICE erased a two-goal deficit in the third period and took the defending WHL Champion Prince Albert Raiders to extra time in a 3-2 overtime loss at Art Hauser Centre on Saturday night.

Trailing 2-0 heading into the final frame, Michael Milne picked up his first goal of the season at the 2:27 mark to cut the Raiders lead in half. Austin Schellenberg would tie the game with just over eight-minutes remaining. Raiders forward Jeremy Masella scored the overtime winner at 2:02 of the extra frame to keep the defending champions undefeated in regulation time this season.

ICE goaltender Gage Alexander made his WHL debut on Saturday, stopping 21-of-24 shots. Raiders netminder Boston Bilous blocked 16-of-18 shots in the victory.
