Royals Activate Defenseman Rob Kwiet from Injured Reserve

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League and the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League, today announced that the team has activated defenseman Rob Kwiet ["KWIT"] from the 7-Day Injured Reserve. The Royals also (i) transferred forward Eric Castonguay ["KAST awn gay"] from the 3-Day Injured Reserve to the 7-Day Injured Reserve; and (ii) placed defenseman Dallas Jackson on the 3-Day Injured Reserve. Kwiet has played one game with the Royals this season without registering any points or penalty minutes. Castonguay has scored one goal and picked up three assists (four points) in six games with Reading. Jackson has registered two assists in five games with the Royals this year.

The Royals travel to Wheeling, West Virginia, tomorrow (Thursday, November 11, 2010 @ 7:05 pm) where they will complete a season long six game road trip against the Wheeling Nailers. The Royals' game night broadcast will kick off with the opening face-off at 7:05 pm on the Royals Broadcast Network (WRAW 1340 am in Reading, www.1340wraw.com).
