Matchup:
The Condors open a season-high eight game homestand with three games against the Utah Grizzlies tonight, Friday and Saturday. Bakersfield and Utah split a two-game set earlier in the season in Utah, with the Condors picking up a 5-0 win on Oct. 22, and dropping a 6-4 decision the following night. The two clubs will meet a total of 10 times this season, however all five home games against Utah, come during the month of November.
Condors misc:
RW Erick Lizon leads the ECHL with 48 penalty minutes and four fighting majors this season. He recorded 33 PIM in last weekend's Stockton series alone... RW Pascal Morency recorded his first professional hat trick in the Condors most recent home game, a 5-4 win against Alaska last Wednesday... G Josh Tordjman ranks t-3rd in the league with a .928 save percentage, and 2nd with 233 saves on the season... F Carter Smith ranks just outside the top 10 in the ECHL in rookie scoring with five points (3g-2a).
Transactions:
D Evan Stoflet was placed on 3-day IR today. He will be eligible to be activated on Saturday... The Condors acquired D Brendan Milnamow from Idaho for future considerations on Tuesday... The Condors also signed F Mark Magnowski on Tuesday... D Antonin Manavian was released on Monday... D Jean-Francois David received a one-game suspension by the ECHL for his actions on Saturday. He sat out Sunday's game... C Rylan Kaip was returned to the Condors from Houston (AHL) on Sunday... D Joey Ryan was placed on the 3-day IR on Sunday. He was activated today and will play tonight... C Adam Naglich remains on the 7-day IR.
