St. Cloud Rox News Release
Willmar, MN-- The Rox rally fell short in the 9th inning as they scored two but eventually succumbed to the Stingers by a final score of 4-3.
Trailing 4-1 entering the 9th, the Rox quickly made 2 outs and were down to their final out trailing by 3. Four hits later, the Rox trailed by just one and had the tying run on second base. It was a case of too little too late, as the Stingers eventually ended the game before the Rox could tie things at 4.
On the night, Connor Crane (Mcneese St.) was 2-4 with an RBI and a run scored to lead the way for St. Cloud. Lee Miller (Davidson) went 1-4 on the night, and added an RBI in the top of the 9th inning.
The St. Cloud Rox ended their six game road-trip with a respectable 3-3 record, as they return home to Joe Faber Field for tomorrow's contest against the Willmar Stingers.
