Thunder Bay Border Cats News Release
The Border Cats fell 9-0 to the Mankato Moondogs Saturday night at TbayTel Park. The Cats record drops to 10-8 after day one of the eight-day home-stand.
Starting pitcher Zach Thiac (Nicholls State) took the loss in his first game with the Cats allowing only three of the runs while striking out four after six innings.
Although the Cats had no runs both Carter McEachern (Trinity University) and Eddie Posavec IV (Binghamton University) had two runs a piece Saturday night.
The Cats look to start off against Willmar with a win Monday night at 7:05pm EST.
