Bucks Washed out in Battle Creek
June 13, 2015 - Northwoods League (Northwoods)
Waterloo Bucks News Release
BATTLE CREEK, Mich. - The Waterloo Bucks' (11-7) contest with the Battle Creek Bombers (7-10) was postponed Saturday night due to heavy rains at C.O. Brown Stadium. Both the Bucks and the Bombers will make-up Saturday's contest by playing two seven-inning games scheduled for Sunday in Battle Creek. The twinbill is scheduled to begin Sunday at 3:05 p.m. ET.
The original start time of 7:05 p.m. ET was pushed back because of rain and a tornado warning in the region. After heavy rain pounded the field, and the skies cleared, more rain covered the field to finalize the postponement.
Waterloo plays at home next on Monday, June 15, against the Mankato MoonDogs. Get your tickets now for another Monday: Buck Nights.
Every Monday home game, get regular hot dogs for just $1.50, plus 10 oz. draft beer, 12 oz. sodas, small popcorn, and ice cream sandwiches are just $1 each, sponsored by K98.5.
