St. Cloud, MN - In what was a tight game all the way, St. Cloud (8-5) had its six-game winning streak snapped, 5-2, by Waterloo (11-4)

After falling behind early, the Rox tied the game in the fifth inning as Payton Pennington (Kent State) and Jack Winkler (San Francisco) both came across home plate. Jordan Barth (Augustana) drove in Winkler with a sacrifice fly for his eighth RBI of the season.

Otto Kemp (Point Loma Nazarene) added another hit on the night and maintained his lead in batting average in the Northwoods League. Kemp now has 12 hits in the last five games.

On the mound, Collin Romel (Kent State) went five innings in his second start of the season and kept the Rox in the game into the late innings. Romel struck out three while only allowing two runs.

Nathan Culley (Minnesota State-Mankato) came out of the bullpen and struck out six Bucks batters in two and a third innings pitched. Culley is now up to nine strikeouts on the season. Zach Gagnon (Tarleton State) also came out of the bullpen and tossed a scoreless ninth inning.
