Roughriders Bringing Grey Cup to Civic Centre

The Moose Jaw Warriors are pleased to announce that members of the Grey Cup Champion Saskatchewan Roughriders will be in attendance at the Warriors December 15th home game versus the Regina Pats. Warriors' fans will have the opportunity to cheer on the Riders as they bring out the Grey Cup for all to see and participate in a ceremonial puck drop celebrating their championship.

The Saskatchewan Roughriders won the 95th Grey Cup Championship on November 25th in Toronto, beating the Winnipeg Blue Bombers 23-19 for the team's first championship in 18 years. All fans are encouraged to wear green to the December 15th game to acknowledge the Roughriders accomplishment. Fans will also have the opportunity to get autographs from the attending players and their picture taken with the Grey Cup. Gates will open at 6:00pm with puck drop at 7:00pm

December 15th is also the Warriors Teddy Bear Toss Night. Bring a stuffed animal to the game and when the Warriors score their first goal of the night, fans will be instructed to toss them out on the ice. The teddy bears collected will be donated to the Salvation Army.
