CHILLIWACK, B.C. - WHL leading scorer Mark Santorelli notched his first WHL Hat Trick and the Bruins Oscar Moller added four assists as the Bruins steamed over the Portland Winter Hawks by a score of 5-2. Santorelli had a goal in each period to pace the Bruins to a lead that they would never relinquish. Evan Pighin and Ryan Howse would add singles for the Bruins, who once again hammered shots at the Portland net, out shooting the Hawks 44-17. Over the last two games played the Bruins have out shot the Hawks by a 112-47 margin.
Kurtis Mucha, even though he allowed five goals, was great once again for the Hawks in net. Matt Esposito picks up his 13th win of the season to move him within one of his career best total of 14, set last season.
The Bruins travel to Kamloops tomorrow to tangle with the Blazers before returning to Prospera Centre for a Sunday afternoon encounter with the Kelowna Rockets...game time Sunday for Ricky's All Day Grill Teddy Bear Toss is at 5 pm.
