The Missions scored three times in the sixth inning to cut the deficit to 6-5 before J.D. Davis slugged a two-run homer in the eighth to pad the lead.
Nick Torres collected an rbi single and rbi triple in the loss.
Hooks pitchers fanned 14 Missions, bringing their three-game series total to 34. San Antonio has struck out 75 times in the last seven games while managing 44 hits.
