Reading Fightin Phils News Release
Philadelphia Phillies LHP J.C. Romero is expected to pitch for the Reading Phillies on Major League rehab assignment on Wednesday.
Reading takes on the New Britain Rock Cats (Twins) at 11:05 AM.
Romero pitched for New Britain in 1998 and 1999, his 2nd and 3rd pro seasons.
LHP Joe Savery (3-1, 3.89) is the R-Phils scheduled starter. New Britain righty Jay Rainville (1-2, 6.14) is the Rock Cats probable starter.
