Bacon Bits:
Rockford has an unbeaten streak of six games dating back to 11/3/04 (4-0-2).
The IceHogs are still leading the UHL in offensive production, scoring 57g-99a-156pts in the Hogs first 14 games. The club is also averaging 4.07 goals per game, second best in the league.
Rockford tied a franchise record on Sunday against Missouri putting just 16 shots on goal. It's the third time in which Rockford had only 16 shots in a game and they had won the previous two contests, most recently a 4-2 win over Quad City on 11/24/01.
In four shootouts this season, Rockford has been held goalless in three of them and are 3-26 (11.5%) in the extra session overall.
The Hogs were without the services of center J.C. Ruid over the three game weekend and the line of Chris Gobert, Olivier Proulx and Terry Harrison stepped up. They combined for 6g-12a-18pts in three games with a plus/minus of +20.
Rockford is 7-1-3 in the past 11 games and lead the UHL with 21 points.
The IceHogs plus/minus rating through 14 games is +106. Last season, Rockford was -240.
Winger Eric Labelle has a penalty in eight straight games, accumulating 97 PIM's during his stretch dating back to 10/30/04.
The IceHogs are seven games over .500 for the first time in franchise history.
