
Outlaws light up Kemper Arena on Thanksgiving

(Kansas City, MO --- November 16, 2004) The Kansas City Outlaws, who return to Kemper Arena on Thanksgiving after a 15-game road trip, are offering a unique package for fans during "Light up the Plaza, Light up Kemper Arena" night on Thursday, November 25 (game time is 8:30 p.m.).
The Outlaws Thanksgiving package includes:
One ticket to the Outlaws vs. Kalamazoo Wings at Kemper Arena
One free parking admission for the game at the Kemper Arena Parking Lots
One shuttle ride from Kemper Arena to the Plaza Lighting Ceremony and returning to Kemper Arena. (The buses will run a continuous route from 5:30 p.m. through the start of the game at 8:30 p.m. --- Plaza lights are schedule to turn on at 7:30 p.m.)
Plus: The first 2,000 children ages 14 and under will receive a flashlight courtesy of Dean's Trophies, T-Shirts, and Awards. All 2,000 children with flashlights will be part of the "Light up Kemper Arena" celebration.
Tickets: The Thanksgiving package is $12, $17, $20 (tickets increase two dollars on day of event) and are available TODAY through the Kemper Arena Box Office, www.ticketmaster.com, all Ticketmaster outlets, or charge by phone at 816-931-3330. If someone has already purchased a game ticket for November 25, the shuttle ride to and from Kemper Arena is available for $5 at the Kemper Arena Box Office.
"The Outlaws Thanksgiving package is an example of our goal to be the best in complete family entertainment," said Richard Adler, President of the Kansas City Outlaws. "It's an opportunity for families in the Kansas City Metro to have an affordable holiday, complete with a Kansas City tradition on the Plaza and hockey entertainment at Kemper Arena."
The Kansas City Outlaws (www.kansascityoutlaws.com) officially joined the United Hockey League in July of 2004. Owner Stephen Franke of Chillicothe, MO brought the professional minor league expansion franchise to Kansas City, MO. The Outlaws home is Global Spectrum-managed Kemper Arena of the American Royal Complex. Global Spectrum serves as the marketing, promotional, and publicity arm of the Outlaws.
