
Rockets grab first with win over Vancouver

The Kelowna Rockets defeated the Vancouver Giants 7-3 Saturday night in Kelowna, moving into first place in the WHL BC division.
Geordie Wudrick scored a hat trick, Zach Franko extended his point scoring streak to 13 and Cody Chikie had three assists as the Rockets won their sixth game in a row and vaulted over Vancouver by a point into first in the BC division.
Franko had a goal and an assist while Brett Bulmer, Mitchell Callahan and Shane McColgan scored for Kelowna.
Adam Brown earned the win in net, allowing just three goals, two of them to Brendan Rowinski and the other to Greg Lamoureux.
Kelowna is back in action on Wednesday against the Chilliwack Bruins.
