Edmonton, AB - Left-winger Dylan Wruck scored a pair of goals including the game-winner as the Edmonton Oil Kings earned a 4-2 win over the Prince Albert Raiders during Michael Jackson Night on Saturday at Rexall Place.

After falling behind 2-1 through two periods, the Oil Kings moonwalked their way to a three-goal final frame to come from behind and double up on the Raiders in the pivotal Eastern Conference matchup. The win bumped Edmonton up to 23-24-0-3 on the season and gives them a two-point cushion in sixth place in the conference with 49 points.

Justin Maylan and Todd Fiddler spotted the Raiders a 2-0 lead early in the second period, but Wruck kept the Oil Kings in it with his first of two goals with 11:18 left in the middle frame, knocking the puck in with his elbow following a drive to the net by Colton Stephenson. The play was under video review for about one minute, but it was eventually ruled a goal.

The third period was all Oil Kings, as Klarc Wilson scored the equalizer with 17:13 left in the game, firing home a wrist shot on a three-on-two breakout. Wruck then scored his second of the night on a strong wrap-around move with 12:55 remaining. And T.J. Foster added the insurance marker with 1:24 to go, deflecting in a Mark Pysyk point shot and then performing a subtle celebratory moonwalk in front of the Edmonton bench.

The Oil Kings were outshot 38-33 on the night, but a 36-save performance from goalie Laurent Brossoit allowed them to emerge victorious. Between the Prince Albert pipes, Jamie Tucker made 29 saves in a losing effort.

Next up for the Oil Kings is a four-game road trip to the United States against the Seattle Thunderbirds on Tuesday, Tri-City Americans on Wednesday, Portland Winterhawks on Friday and Everett Silvertips on Saturday. They return home on Tuesday, Feb. 8 to play Prince George at 7 p.m. at Rexall Place for College Mac & Cheese Night and T-Shirt Tuesday.

Tickets to every Oil Kings home game are available starting at just $15 at any Ticketmaster outlet, online at oilkings.ca, or by calling 780-414-GOAL (4625).
