Parker Overwhelms Hitmen

Calgary, AB - Jonathan Parker scored a career high four goals to lead the Prince Albert Raiders to a 5-1 win over the Calgary Hitmen Sunday night at Scotiabank Saddledome.

Parker had a natural hat trick in the first period to give the visitors a 3-0 lead.

Jimmy Bubnick with his 15th goal of the season got Calgary on the board with the lone goal of the second period.

In the third Mark McNeill restored the Raiders three goal lead before Parker struck for his fourth goal, 33rd on the season.

The Hitmen fired 33 shots in the loss but Prince Albert goalie Jamie Tucker made 32 saves in a third star performance.

Calgary will now open a home and home series with the Kootenay Ice Tuesday night in Cranbrook.

The return match goes Wednesday at Scotiabank Saddledome.
