The Kelowna Rockets defeated the Chilliwack Bruins 2-1 Saturday night, getting a 31 save performance from goalie Adam Brown, named the first star of the game.

First period goals from Codey Ito, with his first WHL goal, and Brett Bulmer was all the offense Kelowna needed as Brown earned his 18th win of the season.

The Rockets played with nine regulars out of its line-up - including Brandon McMillan at the World Junior - and three 15-year-old affiliate players.

The win improves the Rockets record to 19-20-2-0 as the team gets set for a game on Sunday in Vancouver, a 5 p.m. face-off.
