
Calgary Hitmen Drop 4-2 Decision To Lethbridge

Calgary, AB - The Lethbridge Hurricanes got a 35 save performance from Linden Rowat in a 4-2 road win over the Calgary Hitmen Sunday.
Graham Hood scored twice for the Hurricanes, once into an empty net, to ice the win. Cam Braes and Brennan Yadlowski also scored for Lethbridge who built a 2-0 lead after one period.
Both Hitmen goals came in a second period where they outshot the Hurricanes 18-1 to produce a 2-2 tie. Joel Broda with his 21st and Rigby Burgart with his first provided the goals.
Calgary outshot the Hurricanes 37-12.
The Hitmen are now 27-11-1-1. They hold a single point lead over Medicine Hat for first place in the Central Division.
Calgary will wrap up their four game home stand this week hosting Kootenay Thursday night and Vancouver Saturday. Both are 7:00 p.m. starts at the Pengrowth Saddledome.
