Phoenix RoadRunners News Release

Phoenix, Ariz. - The Phoenix RoadRunners of the ECHL have announced that in honor of Veteran's Day, the team will offer free admission to all veterans for Friday's home game against the Long Beach Ice Dogs. The puck drops at 7:11PM with the "Casino Arizona Opening Face-Off".

Any veteran can bring his or her military ID or veteran's ID to the America West Arena Box Office on Friday to receive a free ticket. Veterans without an ID can bring discharge papers or other military documents along with a driver's license in the same name.

"The Phoenix RoadRunners are pleased to offer this special promotion," said Chief Operating Officer Ray Delia. "A ticket to one of our games is a small token of our appreciation for the sacrifices our past and present military personnel have made in order to keep this country free."

In addition to the Veteran's Day ticket promotion, the 2005 NASCAR Street Tour will hit America West Arena on Friday and set up an interactive display in the plaza outside the Casino Arizona Pavilion. This racing truck will be equipped with the latest technology from flat screen televisions, video gaming systems, and a state-of-the art sound system to allow fans to get up close and personal with the sights, sounds, and excitement of NASCAR.

The NASCAR Street Tour crew will also be hand to distribute prizes and other giveaways, and give fans an opportunity to sign up and win a new Ford F-150. The winner will be announced on November 20.

Phoenix returns to America West Arena at 7:11PM tonight when they host the Long Beach Ice Dogs in the first game of a two-game series that will conclude at 7:11PM on Friday, November 11. The first 2,000 fans on Friday will receive RoadRunners Rally Towels.
