Bombers acquire goaltender Chad Collins

Dayton, OH - The Dayton Bombers of the ECHL acquired goaltender Chad Collins from the Toledo Storm for financial considerations, while goaltender Mike Ayers remains with the American Hockey League's Syracuse Crunch.

The 24-year old Guelph, Ontario native posted a record of 2-1-1 with a goals against average of 2.92 and a save percentage of .884 in 4 games with the Storm this season. He will wear jersey number 29 for the Bombers this weekend.

Collins recorded 25 wins and a goals against average of 2.48 as a rookie last season with the Southern Professional Hockey League's Fayetteville FireAntz. He was also named the SPHL's Most Valuable Player.

The Dayton Bombers, proud "AA" affiliate of the National Hockey League's Columbus Blue Jackets, are celebrating their 15th Anniversary this season.
