Peter Worrell reassigned to Charlotte Checkers

Hartford, November 9, 2005: Hartford Wolf Pack general manager/head coach Jim Schoenfeld announced today that left wing Peter Worrell has been reassigned from the Wolf Pack to the Charlotte Checkers of the ECHL.

Worrell, an eighth-year pro, has been on the Wolf Pack roster since the start of the season but had yet to appear in a game. Worrell did not play during 2004-05 season, and appeared in 49 games with the Colorado Avalanche in 2003-04, totaling three goals and one assist for four points, along with 179 penalty minutes.

The Wolf Pack return to action tonight at home vs. Head Coach Kevin Dineen and the Portland Pirates. Faceoff is 7:00, and after the game selected Wolf Pack players will be conducting a free autograph session in Center Court of the Civic Center Mall. The Pack then travel to Binghamton (7:05 PM) Friday and Lowell (7:35 PM) Saturday, before returning home for a Sunday (4:00) home game against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.

Cablevision Systems Corporation owns a controlling interest in MSG LP, which also includes the New York Rangers (NHL), New York Knicks (NBA), the New York Liberty (WNBA), the MSG Network, Fox Sports Net and the Madison Square Garden arena complex.
