
Roadrunners First Season Approaches

The Season is fast approaching as the temperature turns to hockey weather.
Training Camp is well under way at York University. The team has a 1-1 exhibition record and will be playing their final two exhibition games against the Manitoba Moose this weekend in Thunder Bay. The team will be unveiling their new uniforms for the first time. We are expecting 6-7 more players to be sent down from Edmonton early next week. The team will then be leaving for Milwaukee on Thursday for the Roadrunners first ever game on Friday October 10th. We are also playing in Hamilton on October 13th @ 4PM. Our Open House has been schedule for Monday October 13, 2003 from 11 AM to 3 PM. If you have time please make sure to drop by. Fans will have an opportunity to check out the Ricoh Coliseum as well as purchase tickets right on the spot. Seats will be available for Season Tickets, Packages as well as individual games. Parking will be free outside of the Ricoh Coliseum.
We have also introduced an incentive package for current and prospective season ticket holders. All purchasers before October 17th (entrants will include purchasers from day one to the deadline) will have their name entered into a draw. First prize is a trip to Edmonton to see the Leafs vs. Oilers and the Heritage Hockey Classic Outdoor Game between the Canadiens and the Oilers. The prize will include flight, tickets and accommodations. Second prize will be a trip to Ottawa to see the Senators against the Canadiens and the following day watch the Roadrunners take on the Binghamton Senators at the Corel Centre. Third prize will be a team autographed jersey.
All season ticket holders will also receive 8 free any game parking passes.
