
Barons Announce Promotional Schedule

Cleveland Barons News Release
CLEVELAND â The Cleveland Barons announced their schedule for promotions and giveaways for the 2003-2004 regular season. Michael T. Lehr, President of the Cleveland Barons, made the announcement.
The Barons will host four Post-Game Skate with the Barons presented by Marc's during the season. The open-skates will take place on the following dates: Friday, October 17th vs. Grand Rapids, Sunday, January 25th vs. Cincinnati at 5:00pm, Thursday, February 5th vs. Manitoba at 7:00pm, and Saturday, March 20th vs. Cincinnati at 7:00pm.
The Barons will also host two post-game autograph sessions. Fans will have the opportunity to meet the 2003-04 Barons during the autograph sessions on opening night, Saturday, October 11th vs. Hamilton at 7:00pm and on Sunday, March 7th vs. Cincinnati at 5:00pm.
Cox Communications has pulled strings to deliver television's brightest stars to the Barons. On Saturday, January 3rd vs. St. John's at 7:00pm, Sponge Bob Square Pants will grace Gund Arena. Also on that day, the first 3,000 fans in attendance will receive a Barons T-Shirt. The Power Puff Girls will be in attendance on Saturday, February 7th vs. Manitoba at 1:00pm. Finally, Scooby Doo will sniff out Gund Arena on Saturday, March 6th vs. Rochester at 1:00pm. The first 1,000 kids in attendance will receive a Barons metal lunch box.
The Barons will pay homage to hockey in Cleveland on Saturday, December 20th vs. Rochester at 7:00pm with the "Cleveland Hockey Legends Night". The first 3,000 fans in attendance will receive a Jock Callander Bobblehead Doll. In addition to the Callander bobblehead, the Barons will feature the following two figurines: a Patrick Rissmiller Bobblehead Doll on Friday, January 23rd vs. Houston at 7:00pm and a Niko Dimitrakos Bobblehead Doll on Saturday, February 28th vs. Rochester at 7:00pm.
On Friday, December 5th vs. St. John's at 7:00pm the Barons will hold the second annual Pigskin on the Pond. The first 3,000 fans in attendance will receive an orange puck. The Barons will wear an alternate uniform in honor of the Browns for the game. A portion of the ticket proceeds for the game will be divided between Cleveland Barons Charities and the Cleveland Browns Foundation.
The Barons will hold "All Things Food Night" presented by Marc's and WDOK 102-FM. Throughout the entirety of the game, fans will win prizes all related to food. One dollar from every ticket sold will benefit the WDOK "Feed A Family" program.

The Barons open up the season at home on October 11th at 7:00pm. Group tickets for the game are now available by calling the Barons ticket staff at 216-420-0000.
