Iowa Wolves News Release

Greensboro, N.C. - The Iowa Wolves (12-16) dropped their fifth consecutive game Monday afternoon, losing a 109-99 contest on the road to the Greensboro Swarm (5-21).

The Wolves led by as many as seven points early in the first quarter but would not see the lead in any other quarter to follow.

Two-way forward Kelan Martin totaled a game-high 23 points on 9-of-15 shooting from the field. The former Butler University standout also picked up nine rebounds in the loss.

James Webb III put on a show during today's game, finishing with 20 points, 14 rebounds and several impressive highlight-reel dunks, earning his fifth double-double of the season.

As a team Iowa shot 47.0% (39-of-83) from the field but struggled mightily from the line, making just 5-of-15 (33.3%) from the charity stripe.

Forward Jordan Murphy tallied his fifth double-double of the season, finishing with 10 points, 11 rebounds and three assists.

Former NBA guard Kobi Simmons led the Swarm with a 21-point, six-assist effort in Greensboro's first win since Dec. 7. Forward Caleb Martin chipped in 20 points, five rebounds and five assists for the home team.

Iowa concludes its three-game road trip Thursday evening with a 6:00 p.m. CT tipoff against the Erie BayHawks.
