Rivermen to Appear at New Wal-Mart Supercenters

Peoria, Ill. (October 26, 2004) â President Bart Rogers of the Peoria Rivermen of the ECHL announced today that Captain Trevor Baker, center Tyler Rennette, left wing Randy Rowe and goaltender Alfie Michaud will appear at two brand new Central Illinois area Wal-Mart Supercenters on Wednesday, October 27.
Baker and Rennette will appear in front of the Coca-Cola products display and sign autographs at the brand new Wal-Mart Supercenter in Morton (155 E. Courtland St.) from 1-2:15 p.m. Rowe and Michaud will appear in front of the Coca-Cola products display and sign autographs at the brand new Wal-Mart Supercenter in Washington (1980 Freedom Parkway) from 4-5:00 p.m.
The Peoria Rivermen are a proud affiliate of the NHL's St. Louis Blues and a member of the ECHL â America's Premier "AA" Hockey League. Peoria continues its 36-game home schedule on Saturday, October 30, when they host the archrival Dayton Bombers at Carver Arena. Game time is 7:00 p.m. The first 6,000 fans will receive a Rivermen calendar, courtesy of various Rivermen corporate partners.
