Pride to Offer Discount to Darlington Ticket Holders

FLORENCE, SC – The Pee Dee Pride announced today that the team will extend a discounted ticket rate to Darlington Raceway ticket holders on race weekend.

On Saturday, November 13, the Pride host the Columbia Inferno at 7:30 p.m. Any fan who presents a ticket stub from any of the three NASCAR races being held that weekend at Darlington Raceway can receive a 200 or 400 level ticket for the Pride game for just $8, a savings of $3 off of the normal ticket price.

The Pride will hold their annual NASCAR Night during this game. Nextel Cup Series driver Ward Burton will be in attendance to drop the ceremonial first puck, and to honor Delayed Entry Personnel in the United States Military. During the second intermission, the Pride will hold the annual Wiener Dog Nationals, as well as the annual Boys & Girls Club Boxcar Race.

The Budweiser Clydesdales will also be at the Florence Civic Center on November 13, from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. Fans will have the opportunity to have their picture taken with the horses for a $1 donation to the Pride Youth Hockey Association.

The Pride are on the road for three games this week, starting with tonight's contest at South Carolina. This weekend, the Pride head north for a pair of games at Johnstown on Friday and Saturday. All three games start at 7:00 p.m., and all of the action can be heard on WDAR Sunny 105.5 starting with the Palmetto Chiropractic Pre-Game Show at 6:40.

Pee Dee returns home Tuesday, November 2, hosting the Greenville Grrrowl with a special start time of 6:00 p.m. The Pride are offering a discounted ticket of just $5 for all Pee Dee area school students. This special ticket rate is only available through the Pride office, and must be purchased by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 28. For more information, call the Pride at (843) 669-7825.
