
Rivermen Announce Paddy O'Flaherty's Player of the Month Award

Paddy O'Flaherty's has partnered with the Peoria Rivermen to present the Rivermen Player of the Month Award!
The award will be voted on by the fans each month, and presented to the most deserving Rivermen player in your eyes. Fans will have the chance to vote each month by logging on to the Rivermen web site at www.Rivermen.net and following the link on the home page to the voting section. Then just choose your favorite player for that month's award!
Candidates will be listed on the web site with fans voting for their pick, and the Paddy O'Flaherty's Player of the Month award will be presented on Tuesday, February 5th prior to the team's game against the Manitoba Moose at 7 pm.
The Rivermen are back in action this weekend with three straight games at home. Thursday night the Grand Rapids Griffins are in town for just the second time this season, followed by the West Division's first place Rockford IceHogs on Friday night. Both contests start at 7 pm. On Saturday night, the Milwaukee Admirals come to town for an 8 pm game.
Friday night is PAR-A-DICE Hotel Casino Playful Vegas Escape Night - one lucky fan will win round trip airfare, hotel, and dinner accommodations in Las Vegas; Weddings on Ice Night is also this Friday, with lucky local couples tying the knot at center ice; Friday is also Trouble Free Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling Night. Don't forget it's also Coca-Cola 2-for-$22 Friday! All upper bowl tickets are 2-for-$22 with any Coke product can at the Peoria Civic Center Box Office.
Saturday evening the first 2,000 fans through the gates will receive OSF/St. Francis Children's Hospital of Illinois Rivermen Backpacks! Saturday is also Five-Star Water Night.
