
Falcons Recall David Rohlfs From Stockton

Springfield, MA - The Springfield Falcons, proud members of the American Hockey League, announced today that they have recalled David Rohlfs from their ECHL affiliate, the Stockton Thunder. The Falcons also announced that their first formal workout following the AHL's All-Star Classic will be Thursday, January 31 starting at 1:00 pm at Cyr Arena.
Rohlfs has played in 40 games for Stockton this season scoring 10 goals and adding seven assists for 17 points and 24 penalty minutes. Rohlfs, who can play both forward and defense, played his collegiate hockey at the University of Michigan from 2003-2007 before entering his first professional season this year. The Northville, Michigan native was drafted by the Edmonton Oilers in the fifth round (154th overall) in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.
The Falcons return to action this weekend when they head to Hartford on Friday, followed by a trip to Lowell on Saturday. The Falcons return home on Friday, February 8 when they host the Philadelphia Phantoms. Single game tickets for the 2007-08 regular season are on sale at the MassMutual Center Box Office and online at ticketmaster.com. MassMutual Center Box Office hours are Monday-Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, Saturday 10am - 4 pm, or four hours prior to an event.
