TULSA, OK --- Jason Sessa scored the game winner for the second night in a row as the Memphis RiverKings defeated the Tulsa Oilers 5-4 in overtime in Tulsa Saturday night. The RiverKings battled back from deficits of 2-0 and 3-1 to pick up their fourth win of the season and jump ahead of Youngtown for first place in the Northeast Division.

Tulsa scored goals at :16 and 6:25 of the first to grab a 2-0 advantage. Derek Landmesser's first of the season at 13:30 cut the lead in half only to have the Oilers' Joe Donnelly put the lead back to two with just under 2:30 left in the first.

The RiverKings were also forced to kill off almost 11 minutes of penalties from late in the first into the middle part of the second period. The PK unit did just that, setting the stage for the comeback. Memphis scored three straight goals: Steve Makway with just over a minute left in the second; Louis Dumont's goal at 15:03 of the third tied it and Jason Tessier's tally just 1:19 later gave the RiverKings their first lead.

A late penalty put Tulsa on the power play and Matt Medley took advantage to tie it with :12 left and force overtime.

It took just 51 seconds into the overtime to decide it as the RiverKings attacked the Tulsa net and Sessa would put it behind Tulsa netminder Bill Ruggerio.

Dumont finished with a goal and two assists. Sessa and Tessier had a goal and an assist each with Travis Banga chipping in two assists.

The RiverKings improved to 4-1-2 and will host Rocky Mountain tomorrow at 5:05.
