
RiverDogs Add Mid-Week Manager's Show

CHARLESTON, SC - The Charleston RiverDogs have announced the addition of a mid-week radio show with team manager Torre Tyson to begin Tuesday, April 14.
The show, titled "Tuesdays With Tyson," is presented by Express Employment Professionals. It airs seven times throughout the 2009 season on Sports Radio 1450 AM from 11 a.m. to 12 noon live from Jim 'N Nick's BBQ, located at 288 King Street in downtown Charleston.
Along with manager Tyson, the show will be hosted by the Voice of the RiverDogs Danny Reed and is expected to include various guests throughout the season. Air dates for the show are Apri1 14, May 26, June 9, June 30, July 14, August 11 and August 25.
"This is something we've been looking to do for a while, and we are thrilled that it has become a reality," said RiverDogs General Manager Dave Echols. "It is a great way to expand our radio product and offers our fans a tangible opportunity to interact with Torre and Danny."
The RiverDogs, the fifth-year affiliate of the 26-time World Series Champion New York Yankees, open the 2009 season on April 9 against the Rome Braves with a 7:05 p.m. first pitch.
