Kannapolis Cannon Ballers News Release

LEXINGTON, KY - Greg Infante was brilliant once again for the Intimidators on Tuesday night, helping Kannapolis to a 2-0 win at Applebee's Park.

Infante (1-0), who pitched six no-hit innings on Opening Night, was on top of his game again on Tuesday, going six shutout innings. And unlike Opening Night, the Intimidators offense did enough to get their starter a much-deserved win.

Drew Garcia scored two runs to lead the Intimidators (4-2) offensive charge. He blasted an eighth-inning solo home run over the leftfield bleachers to extend the Intimidators lead to two. Jorge Castillo picked up his first RBI of the season, scoring Garcia in the first to put Kannapolis on the board.

Tyson Corley pitched the ninth to earn his first save of the season. Dan Remenowsky pitched in two scoreless innings and struck out four to maintain the Intimidators slim advantage.

Lexington, who had the league's top offense coming into the game, managed just five hits on Tuesday night.
