West Sacramento, Calif. - The Sacramento River Cats and Sleep Train Mattress Centers have teamed up for the 2nd Annual Sleep Train Sleepover Spectacular on Monday, August 6th through Tuesday, August 7th at Raley Field. Forty (40) children from the Sacramento Central, Northeast Family, and Yolo County YMCA, along with chaperones, will spend the night in center field at Raley Field, sleeping on brand new twin mattress sets provided by Sleep Train. The children will get to keep the mattresses following the event. Corporate partners of Sleep Train have also teamed up to contribute to the event, as children will also receive blankets and sheet sets from CMN International, LLC and pillows from Leggett & Platt, Inc.

The children will enjoy a pre-game Meet and Greet with River Cats players, a VIP tour of the ballpark and a view of the River Cats' 7:05 p.m. game vs. Oklahoma City from Raley Field's Party Suite. Following the game, the children will move to the field and onto their new mattress sets to enjoy the movie "Bad News Bears" on the Raley Field Video Board. In the morning, the children will wake up to breakfast while Sleep Train delivers the mattress sets to their homes.

"It's an honor to partner with Sleep Train Mattress Centers on this remarkable event," said Alan Ledford, president, general manager and COO of the River Cats. "Their generous contribution to these children's lives is a tribute to what kind of organization Sleep Train is."

"Sleep Train is proud to be a part of this worthwhile event again with the Sacramento River Cats," said Mike Wilson, Sleep Train's VP of Marketing. "We, along with the River Cats, believe it's important to give back to the Sacramento community through activities like the Sleep Train Sleepover Spectacular."
