Trenton Thunder News Release
(Trenton, NJ) The Trenton Thunder, the Double A affiliate of the New York Yankees, announced on Thursday that two ticket packages, the Rivals Plan and the Thunder Six Pack presented by Mrs. G's, are sold out. This is the first time in franchise history that any ticket package has run out of seats and is no longer available for sale.
The Thunder offered four Mini Plans (five or six games each) and the choose-your-own ten or more game Pic-A-Plan this season. Limited seats remain for the Happee Yankee Plan (5 games) and the Summer Swing (6 games). All mini plans include free food at every game (hot dog, small soda, popcorn) and a free Thunder hat. Pic-A-Plans, where fans choose any ten or more games are also still for sale with some games not available due to lack of availability.
Thunder Mini Plan sales are up 21% over last year at this time. The first night of the Mrs. G's Thunder Six Pack Mini Plan is Saturday, April 30 and all seats at Waterfront Park are nearly sold out for that game.
"Running out of seats for new Mini Plan holders is a good problem to have," said Thunder General Manager Will Smith. "People looking to become plan holders still have two great options for mini plans to take advantage of the free food and hat offer."
The Rivals Plan features games against the Thunder's top rivals, the Reading Phillies (Philadelphia), Portland Sea Dogs (Boston) and Binghamton Mets (NY Mets). The Thunder Six Pack presented by Mrs. G's includes four fireworks nights and the opportunity for fans to win a valuable appliance from Mrs G TV and Appliance of Lawrenceville, NJ at each game.
All Trenton Thunder tickets are on sale now at trentonthunder.com. All Thunder games can be heard at 91.3 FM and online at trentonthunder.com.
