
Ritchie Rejoins Rampage

SAN ANTONIO â The San Antonio Rampage of the American Hockey League announced today that the Florida Panthers have reassigned center Byron Ritchie. In addition, the Rampage reassigned forward Eric Schneider to the Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League.
Ritchie, 25, appeared in 30 games with the Panthers this year, picking up three assists and 19 penalty minutes. He notched a helper in the Panthers' 6-2 loss to the Philadelphia Flyers last night. The Burnaby, British Columbia native has played in 94 National Hockey League contests recording 16 points (5-11-16).
Prior to being recalled by the Panthers, he had 17 points (3-14-17) in 26 games with San Antonio.
Schneider, 25, rejoins the Laredo Bucks, where he has picked up three points (1-2-3) with a +4 plus/minus rating in four playoff games. The Bucks dropped a 4-1 decision to the Austin Ice Bats last night in game two of the CHL's Southern Conference Championship. The series which is knotted at one returns to Laredo for contests on Tuesday and Thursday night.
In 24 games with San Antonio Schneider has registered 11 points (7-4-11) and 27 penalty minutes.
San Antonio opens the Western Conference Quarterfinals in Norfolk with a game against the Admirals on Thursday night, April 10 at 6:15 p.m. The Rampage return to the Alamo City for game three of the best-of-five series on Sunday, April 13 at 2:00 p.m.
