Rinne Recalled by Nashville

Milwaukee, WI- Nashville Predators Executive Vice President/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has recalled goaltender Pekka Rinne from the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League.

Rinne, 23 (11/3/82), has posted a record of 30-18-2, a 2.82 goals-against average and a .904 save percentage with Milwaukee this season, the first campaign of his North American professional career. His 30 wins currently place him second in the AHL. In one previous stretch with Nashville this season, the 6-5, 207-pound native of Kempele, Finland earned his first NHL win in his first NHL start, a 5-3 decision vs. the Chicago Blackhawks on December 15, 2005.
