Springfield, MA - The Springfield Falcons, proud members of the American Hockey League, announced today they will host their 1st Annual Diamond Comics Free Comic Book Day on Saturday, April 8 when they host the Providence Bruins at 7:05 PM at the MassMutual Center. The event will feature Spider-Man from Marvel Comics, courtesy of MassMutual Financial Group.

The first 3,000 fans entering the MassMutual Center on April 8 will receive a Disney comic, with Spider-Man in attendance entertaining fans as they enter the arena.

The Falcons return home this weekend for a pair of home games when they host the Manchester Monarchs on Friday, April 7 at 7:35 PM, followed by the Providence Bruins on Saturday, April 8 starting at 7:05 PM. All games can be heard live on the Falcons Hockey Network, WMAS AM 1450, as "The Voice" of the Falcons John Michael handles the play-by-play duties. All games can also be seen live through the B-2 Network for only $6.00.
