Rob Flick, Ben Sexton and Tyler Randell scored and Jeremy Smith made 37 saves as the Providence Bruins shut out the IceCaps at Mile One Centre. Connor Hellebuyck kicked out 28 shots for the IceCaps.

Tyler Randell pounced on a blocked shot in the high slot and whipped home the game-winner with just 23.6 seconds remaining in regulation as the Bruins completed the two-game sweep of the IceCaps at Mile One Centre. Joel Armia scored his first two goals as a member of the IceCaps and Chase Balisy chipped in with three assists as the IceCaps' winless skid hit five games.
The IceCaps finished the season series with Providence with a 1-4-2-1 record

Comrie Back: Netminder Eric Comrie was re-assigned to St. John's on Monday. The 19-year-old played 40 games for the Tri-City Americans (WHL), going 20-19-1 with a 2.87 goals- against average and a .914 save percentage with one shutout.
For his career, the former second round draft pick of the Jets played 168 games, all with Tri-City, compiling a record of 85- 64-15 with a 2.67 goals-against average, a .916 save percentage and 10 shutouts. The native of Edmonton, AB also suited up in a pair of games with the IceCaps last season, dropping both decisions.
