Richardson will replace Sea Dogs' pitcher Junichi Tazawa on the All-Star roster. Tazawa will still attend the Eastern League All-Star Game festivities. Richardson will join teammates Lars Anderson, Jorge Jimenez, and T.J. Large at the Eastern League All-Star Game.

The All-Star teams were selected through fan voting along with selections from media personnel, club field personnel, and Eastern League administrators. Each Eastern League team has at least three players, including at least one pitcher and one position player.
