The San Diego Padres have made the following Minor League transactions:
Effective Tuesday, August 14, 2018
- RHP Jose Quezada placed on Fort Wayne's 7-Day Disabled List
- LHP Dan Dallas transferred to Fort Wayne from Short-Season Tri-City (uniform: #24)
Dallas, a 20-year-old from Buffalo, N.Y., was selected by the Padres in the 7th round of the 2016 MLB Draft. In 16 relief appearances this season with the Dust Devils, Dallas posted a 2.03 ERA with 45 strikeouts in 26.2 innings. The Northwest League was hitting just .138 against him. Like Owen Miller and Olivier Basabe, who joined the team last year, Dallas was a Northwest League All-Star.
