HAGERSTOWN, MD - The Delmarva Shorebirds, in conjunction with the Baltimore Orioles, have announced the following roster moves:
#40 RHP Francisco Jimenez transferred from Aberdeen (SS) to Delmarva (A)
Additionally, Jake Bray was added to the roster yesterday. He has been assigned the number 23.
The roster currently has 25 active players (13 pitchers, 12 position players).
Francisco Jimenez will get the start for the Shorebirds tonight in the final game of the homestand. Jimenez is 0-1 on the season after allowing three runs in three innings against Hagerstown on April 14. He walked two and struck out five. Jimenez is from San Cristobal, Dominican Republic and was signed by Baltimore as an international free agent in 2011. Tonight marks his second career start in the South Atlantic League.
The first pitch of tonight's game is scheduled for 7:05 pm. The game will be broadcast live on Fox Sports AM 960 and online at foxsports960.com.
