RHP Euclides Leyer Joins Dash

Winston-Salem Dash News Release

The Chicago White Sox have announced the following roster moves affecting the Winston-Salem Dash:

- RHP Yency Almonte assigned to Low-A Kannapolis from Winston-Salem

- RHP Euclides Leyer promoted to Winston-Salem from Low-A Kannapolis

Almonte made one appearance for Winston-Salem and did not give up an earned run over seven innings on Saturday in the continuation of a suspended game from June 2.

Leyer did not make an appearance during his short stay with the Intimidators. In 10 relief appearances with Winston-Salem, the righty is 1-0 with a 1.10 earned run average.

The Dash's roster stands at the Carolina League maximum of 25 players (plus two on the disabled list).
