Winston-Salem Dash News Release
The Chicago White Sox have announced the following roster moves affecting the Winston-Salem Dash:
- RHP Colin Kleven activated from seven-day disabled list
- INF Ryan Leonards promoted to Triple-A Charlotte from Winston-Salem
Kleven missed nine games due to a lower back strain. Before his trip to the disabled list, the former Phillies farmhand was 1-2 with a 6.08 earned run average in 14 relief appearances.
Leonards has earned his first promotion to the Triple-A level after posting a .189 average in 17 games between Winston-Salem and Double-A Birmingham. He has played at second base, shortstop, third base and left field with the Dash.
The Dash's roster stands at 25 players, the Carolina League maximum, along with one on the disabled list.
