Potomac Nationals News Release
The Potomac Nationals (29-23) make their first trip to the Beach in 2016, as they begin a four-game series vs. the Pelicans (28-26) Saturday night in Myrtle Beach, SC.
For Potomac, LHP Matthew Crownover (0-0, 0.00) is set to make his Potomac debut. The southpaw was promoted from Class-A Hagerstown on June 1st. With the Suns, Crownover went 5-1 with a 1.17 ERA in 10 games, three starts. He did not allow a run over his final two outings with Hagerstown, both starts. The Pelicans will turn to RHP Zach Hedges (4-4, 2.35). Hedges picked up a victory over the P-Nats at Pfitzner Stadium on April 27th, as the righty allowed just one earned run on four hits over six innings.
