
Revenko Departs for WJC

Prince Albert Raiders News Release
The Raiders leading scorer, and the top scorer among all European players in the Western Hockey League, Igor Revenko, departed today for the World Junior Championships. Revenko will compete for Team Belarus in the Division I B Pool which starts next Monday in Gdansk, Poland. The WJC Division I B Pool runs from December 14 - 20.
19 year-old Revenko has 19 goals and 20 assists for 39 points in 33 games this season, tied for 12th overall in WHL scoring.
At last years WJC, Revenko picked up 11 points in 5 games for Belarus as they were edged 2-1 in the final by host Switzerland which elevated the Swiss to the Top Division.
Revenko is scheduled to return to Prince Albert immediately following Christmas.
