
Novotny Makes Czech WJ Team

Swift Current, SK---Swift Current Broncos forward Stepan Novotny has been named to the Czech World Junior team.
Novotny, from Prague, will compete in his second World Junior tournament after recording 1 assist in 5 games last year in Ottawa. The 19 year old forward will accompany the Broncos for the start of their U.S. Division trip but will depart after the Broncos play in Everett on December 16th for the Czech training camp in Regina.
Novotny becomes the first Bronco named to the Czech World Junior team since Daniel Rakos made the 2006 Czech team.
The Broncos will be missing Cody Eakin for at least the start of the U.S. trip as he will attend Team Canada's orientation camp in Regina which starts on December 12th.
