Las Vegas, NV - The Las Vegas Wranglers® (31-28-8, 70 Points) were defeated by the Ontario Reign (36-27-5, 77 Points) 3-1 in front of 9,644 fans Sunday night at the Citizens Business Bank Arena. Ontario center Jon Rheault scored two goals and assisted on another to lead the Reign to victory. Ontario goalie Jeff Zatkoff made 28 saves in the win. Las Vegas defenseman Bret Tyler scored in the loss. Goalie John DeCaro made 21 saves in the loss. Las Vegas will host "Over 18" Night and the Alaska Aces on Tuesday night at 9:05 PM.

In the first period, Ontario took advantage of their first power play of the game. Forward Jon Rheault broke a scoreless tie to give the Reign a 1-0 lead at 12:16. Forwards Tim Krauss and Bud Holloway set up the extra-man advantage goal. Las responded late in the opening period to tie the game 1-1. Rookie defenseman Bret Tyler scored his second goal of the season with only 42 seconds to go in the period. Forward Shawn Limpright and defenseman Mike Madil set up the tying-goal at 19:18.

Just 1:49 into the second period, Ontario's Geoff Walker scored his 20th goal of the year for the 2-1 Reign lead. Jon Rheault picked up his second point of the night with an assist on the goal.

The Reign scored the final goal of the night at 3:28 of the third period. Rheault scored his second goal of the night and his 18th goal of the year for the 3-1 Ontario lead.

The Wranglers will return to the Orleans Arena on Tuesday at 9:05 PM to host "Over 18" Night.
