Reign Acquire Czarnik from Fuel, Arseneau Recalled

ONTARIO, Calif. - The Ontario Reign, four-time Pacific Division Champions and proud affiliate of the NHL's 2014 Stanley Cup Champion Los Angeles Kings and Winnipeg Jets, have announced that the club has acquired forward Robert Czarnik from the Indy Fuel in exchange for future considerations, while forward Vincent Arseneau has been recalled to the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League.

Czarnik (ZAR-nik), 24, has dressed in 31 games with the Fuel this season, posting 30 points (17g-13a) to lead the team and 16 penalty minutes.

The 6-foot, 188-pound forward has also played in 135 career AHL games with the Manchester Monarchs and Hamilton Bulldogs, totaling 34 points (13g-21a) and 85 penalty minutes.

Prior to turning pro, the Detroit, Mich. native played two seasons for the University of Michigan, logging 22 points (8g-14a) and 36 penalty minutes in 51 games with the Wolverines, before jumping to the Plymouth Whalers of the Ontario Hockey League, where he totaled 126 points (50g-76a) and 74 penalty minutes in 104 games.

Czarnik was a third round selection of the Kings (#63 overall) in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.

Arseneau, 22, has skated in 17 games with Ontario this season, notching one goal and one assist, while adding 62 penalty minutes.

Arseneau was originally assigned to the Reign from the Monarchs on Nov. 20, 2014.
