Reds Prospect Waldrop Promoted to Louisville

Louisville Bats News Release
The Reds have promoted outfield prospect Kyle Waldrop to from the Double-A Pensacola Blue Wahoos to the Triple-A Louisville Bats. Waldrop, the Reds' No. 12 prospect according to MLB Pipeline, was the 2014 Reds' Minor League Hitter of the Year after hitting .338 between Class A Bakersfield and Pensacola. He then played in the Arizona Fall League where he hit .300 in 19 games. The Reds added him to their 40-man roster on November 20 and the outfielder attended his first Major League spring training camp this year. He hit .277 with 6 HR and 31 RBI in 67 games at Double-A before his promotion.
