Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The IronPigs (29-45) play the finale of a three-game series against the fourth-place Buffalo Bisons (34-39) at Coca-Cola Field... With another thrilling 5-4 win last night, the Pigs have won four games in a row against Buffalo and their last two at Coca-Cola Field after snapping an eight-game skid dating back to July 25, 2014... In addition, the Pigs are 8-4 in their last 12 contests after dropping 15 of 18 affairs from May 24 to June 11... The Bisons -- Toronto's top affiliate -- have dropped seven of their last 10 games and are just 11-19 since starting the season at 23-20 through May 23... Although Buffalo has posted an 8-6 record against the Pigs this season, Lehigh Valley has won six of the last seven meetings after starting 0-7... Next up for the Pigs is an eight-game homestand that begins Friday against Louisville, which has gone just 4-10 since June 10.
LHP Anthony Vasquez will start for LHV against RHP Chad Jenkins (5-2, 2.58).
